GUIDELINES 1Y, Whenever a Native American sees another Native he/she should always greet them. There are other guidelines we must follow, traditions with behavior that have been passed down from our ancestors from various tribes. These guidelines are universal  because they are all rooted in respect.  - No game playing in the reliaious grounds.  - No radios, CD players, are to be useq during ceremony unless you are Tistening ¢o traditional music to learn songs.  « No fighting or arguing nn sacred ground.  - No drugs, alcohol, weapons, and other prison contraband used during, before, or after any ceremony or on grounds.  - No bad language, cussing on sacred grounds. - Everyone present for a ceremony should participate, you should remain unless you are obligated elsewhere (medical,visitation, school) it is best to attend to those functions first before coming to ceremony.  - Do not leave trash oh the sacred ground. Always show respect toward the eternal fire, sweat lodge rocks, fire wood, altar, and  sweat lodge.  - No spitting or rock throwing on the grounds.  Kobneyow  (14)
- No discrimination toward each other for any reason, including tribal affiliation, blood guantum, sexval orientation, and trime It committed.  - The ceremonies and sacred grounds are not  to be used for gossip or gripe sessions.  - Do not get into debt for any reason, especially for gambling, drugs, or cheating others.  - Do not ask for anything from other races.  - Alvays give respect to others including officers and especially females.  - Be respectful to all your relations at all times.  During my years , I have seen all of these guidelines broken by all of us. The important thing is to realize when you mess up, and  2dmit that you can do better, then make the  right decision when you reach a similar choice.

We pray to the Creator for ourage, strength, and the wisdom of our aneestors to keep clean our minds, bodies, 2nd Sprits.
